You May Be Noticing...
You may feel anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns you understand intellectually and still have trouble changing. Maybe you’ve been in therapy before and found yourself wondering why the same feelings, reactions, or relationships keep resurfacing.
You may notice your nervous system feels constantly on alert or that you shut down, disconnect, or have difficulty knowing what you need.
If you're looking for a deeper understanding of yourself and a way forward that feels grounded and manageable, therapy can offer a place to begin.
Welcome to Connecting Roots Counseling
Hi, I’m Sabrina (she/her). I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, and I’m a trauma-informed EMDR therapist.
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and patterns that may be getting in the way of feeling connected to themselves and their lives.
My approach is grounded, collaborative, and compassionate. I integrate EMDR, DBT-informed, and parts-based therapy, with somatic and mindfulness practices woven throughout our work. Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface while building practical tools to support greater regulation, self-understanding, and self-trust.
I believe therapy isn’t about becoming a different person or getting everything “right.” It’s about understanding yourself with greater compassion and creating space for meaningful change.
